Our Organization: 



For more than two decades, women of diverse cultures and religious denominations have  dedicated themselves to travel the world on their knees under the vision banner  of “touch and transform lives through prayer and intercession”.  

Since its inception in 1988, WOFM continues to be an effective ministering vehicle  that actualizes and supports the work and ministry of the church beyond the walls to reach individuals needing spiritual, emotional, social healing and crisis interventions. The Ministry encourages, equips and empowers women to accept the challenge to pray, intercede for needs everywhere, serve and share so that others may know Christ and the power of prayer.  Prayer transcends the human mind, transforms lives and travels places we may never walk. Embracing Second Chronicles, chapter seven verse fourteen, WOFM prayer partners travel the world on their knees. 



WOFM is committed to promoting prayer as a vehicle for change and transformation; mobilizing, preparing and strengthening prayer intercessors and teaching the Sacred Scripture beyond the walls of the church. The ministry’s emphasis is on reaching beyond the walls to touch lives and situations in need of healing and interventions. The ministry exists to raise-up an army of praying women committed to traveling the world on their knees. The Ministry’s mission is to create opportunities to engage, encourage, and equip women as front line intercessors for kingdom work and to keep alive the message that prayer changes lives and circumstances. Shared faith, prayer and love for God and His people unite this partnership of Christian believers.

The Women of Faith Ministries is not a church, neither does it operates in competition with the local churches. The Ministry desires to see the body of Christ mature and bond together in prayer focuses and targets so that lives are touched and transformed to yield increase for the Kingdom of God. To that end, WOFM operates under pastoral covering with evangelistic emphases on outreach beyond the walls of the church.



Our Organizational Principles



The gathering of people for the purposes of prayer and sharing of faith that strengthens and empowers are assignments of the Ministry. Sharing the grace of faith gives life to prayer that changes lives by the power of God for the glory of God. Women of Faith Ministry’s prayer partners maintain personal relationships with their local churches as faithful and active servants of God. The effectual work of the prayer partnership takes place outside the walls of the church and reaches the unchurched. Through the partnership women are encouraged, equipped and supported to pursue the ministry of prayer and to exercise faith in God as a way of life. The underlining principle of the organization is to share your faith, proclaim the good news of a loving God, pray with and for others, and teach others to do the same.

WhatWe Believe

Prayer partners of the Women of Faith Ministries adhere to the following conviction and boldly affirm:

We believe that there is only one true and living God existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-existent with God the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is the Chief agent in the regeneration of the soul, the Chief Convictor of sin, and the Chief Comforter of the believer. The Holy Spirit is the giver of spiritual gifts to the believer.

We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is inerrant the original writings. The Bible being the revealed Word of God is the foundation from which all claims of truth shall be substantiated. We believe that man is the direct creation of God-body, soul and spirit.

We believe that all who in faith, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God. Salvation involves redemption, regenerations, sanctification and glorification. Salvation is Wholly of the Lord, apart from the works of man. Therefore, the believer is kept by the power of God through faith.

What We DO  

WOFM organizes and supports prayer gatherings where women come together to share faith, agree in prayer, participate in the practice of prayer and be encouraged through spoken words of shared testimonies and the Word of God. City-wide prayer gatherings convene in local communities where prayer partners commit to gather for prayer once a month at the same time in the same place. The prayer gatherings convene in public venues to ensure freedom from denominational constraints or control. The local prayer gatherings are supported and maintained by a local leadership under the organizational auspice of Women of Faith Ministries, Inc.

Prayer Blast is an electronic means of disseminating prayer requests received by telephone, word of mouth or email. Prayer requests are disseminated electronically to prayer blast intercessors everywhere. Our web site is also a vehicle for prayer requests. Evangelistic Crusades are held in cities throughout the United States.

Our Prayer Gatherings 

Monthly prayer gatherings convene in various geographical locations.

The purpose of the prayer gatherings is two-fold:

1. To establish physical presence time for prayer partners to come together and be one voice in prayer , praise and worship to God for healing and revival in the land as promised in 2 Chronicle 7:14 and as a unified body Jesus prayed for in John 17.



2. To create opportunities to engage, enlist and encourage the message "there is power in prayer."

 The ministry convenes prayer gatherings in communities where there are interest 

 and committed support for the prayer gathering. 



WOFM is not supported by local churches or endowments. The Ministry relies on

free-will donations and volunteers to assure that high quality programs are offered.
